"How did we get started?" - you ask
My husband said, "If we can't get this stuff anymore why don't we see what it takes to start our own home business and provide Dutch items for whoever wants them". We bought a mailing list from a closed down store, found a number of importers and got started. Then came the next step, the Internet. Why not we thought. The more goods we can move, the shorter the turnover time, the fresher our products, the better our customers like it. So here we are with our own Web Site. Over the last couple of years quite a number of people have found us and we are rating higher on the search engines all the time. So it has become increasingly obvious that we needed to be able to accept credit cards and take orders automatically over the net. So that is where we are now. Well, my husband and I are both Dutch and have been in this country since 1963.
Over the years we have purchased some Dutch products from different little shops
in our area. In 1993 the local store closed and left us high and dry without the
products we liked.
