Business Policy Statement
Objective:
It is the objective of Dutch Delight to provide Dutch and Indonesian
Food Products and Dutch Gift Items for sale in the local area as well as
by mail or online order throughout the United States. These products
include: Dutch candies, cookies, breakfast cakes and Pumpernickel Bread
as well as Bread toppings such as Chocolate hail, jams and cheeses.
Soups, seasonings and sauces as well as Indonesian spices and foods.
Gift items include Delft Blue pottery items and tiles, cookbooks and
calendars are also available.
Business Principles:
Since this business is not our main source of income we are not
pressured into squeezing every dollar out of a sale. It is our
commitment to serve our customers honestly, with respect and strive for
customer satisfaction.
Shipping Policy:
Dutch Delight checks for new orders at about 4:30 in the afternoon.
Orders placed after 4:30 the previous day until then are processed in
the evening and normally ship the next day. This means that an order
placed after 4:30 is not processed until the end of the next day. Also
please be aware that UPS does not count Saturday and Sunday as work
days, so if your order is shipped "3 day select" on a Thursday
it will not arrive until Tuesday the next week.
Return Policy:
Dutch Delight will accept returned none food items for any reason. Full
credit less shipping costs will be issued for products if returned
within two weeks after receipt by customer. A 15% restocking charge will
apply thereafter for up to three months.
Due to liability exposure, food items are not returnable unless the
product is below generally accepted standards when received. Dutch
Delight will issue a credit in that case and may request the disposal of
that item.
Cancellation Policy:
Dutch Delight will accept an order cancellation as long as the order has
not been shipped. After an order has been shipped the return policy
would take effect.
